12 Days Samburu National Park, Aberdares, Lake Bogoria, Lake Nakuru, Maasai Mara, Lake Naivasha and Amboseli Kenya Safari

Day 1: Nairobi – Samburu

After breakfast, leave Nairobi for Samburu National park. We pass through the Pineapples, coffee and Tea plantations. Arrive in time for lunch and after proceed for a game drive in Samburu, which known for its herds of elephants. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge

Day 2: Samburu

Game drives that will take you to Samburu, and Buffalo Springs National Reserves, straddles the muddy Ewaso Nyiro River and is one of the most picturesque parks of northern Kenya. Clusters of dorm palms, riverine tress. The reserves have a number of wildlife species not usually found in the southern game parks, including Beisa Oryx, Gerenuk, Reticulated Giraffes, Grevy Zebra, Somali Ostrich, Vulture guinea fowl and hundreds of Elephants. With an option of visiting the Samburu tribe in the evening (Optional). The Samburu are a Nilotic people of north-central Kenya that are related to but distinct from the Maasai. The Samburu are semi-nomadic pastoralists who herd cattle mainly cattle but also goats, sheep and camels. Dinner and overnight at camp or lodge

Day 3: Samburu /Aberdares

Leave Samburu with en route game drive to Aberdare national park arriving in time for lunch at Outspan hotel and later you will be transferred to the ark, the evening is spent on the open air verandahs watching the animals and birds as they come to drink. Dinner and overnight at the ark

Day 4: Aberdares to Lake Bogoria

Depart aberdares to Lake Bogoria via Thomson’s fall arriving in time for lunch at bogoria spa; afternoon game drive at bogoria national reserve Lake Bogoria is now one of the best places to see the flamingo’s and visit the hot springs that erupts up to 5 meters .Aside from birds, there is very little wildlife. Dinner and overnight at lodge or camp

Day 5: Lake Bogoria – Lake Nakuru

Leave Lake bogoria after breakfast with an optional boat ride at extra cost for Lake Nakuru arriving in time for lunch at lodge or camp , Lake Nakuru is famous for the Flamingos (Greater and Lesser) and other water birds including a variety of terrestrial birds. It has a wide range of mammals including the rhinos; it has unique vegetation with different plant species including the biggest Euphorbia forest in Africa, and the yellow acacia woodlands. Day 6: Lake Nakuru – Masai Mara

Early morning depart Lake Nakuru national park for Maasai Mara via Narok town for lunch arriving in Mara in time for introduction game drive .dinner and overnight at camp or lodge

Day 7 & 8: Maasai Mara

Early morning breakfast and with basket lunch, a full day spent at the Masai Mara game reserve, across the plains in search of the big cats (black manned lions, Cheetahs and leopards with picnic lunch served at the Mara River site. Vast herds of wildebeest and zebra wander across the Mara grasslands in huge numbers during this period of the annual migrations take place, when millions of wildebeest, zebra, and gazelle traverse the Mara plains landscape to feed on the rich new grass from the Serengeti. You also have a chance to see other plain game like the Topi, Hartebeest, Eland. All meals and overnight at lodge or camp

Day 9: Maasai Mara – Lake Naivasha

Early pre-breakfast game drive it will be your last game drive in Mara before departing for Lake Naivasha arriving in time for lunch at lodge or camp, this will be followed by afternoon walk safari at crescent island .Dinner and overnight at lodge or camp

Day 10: Lake Naivasha – Amboseli

Proceed for game viewing at Hell’s Gate national park the park you can do walking or bicycle ride safari, Lake Naivasha is a beautiful freshwater lake, fringed by thick papyrus with Hippos relaxing in the lake and Buffaloes grazing on the shores. Bird watching includes Grey-capped Warbler, Spectacled Weaver, Brimstone Canary, Red-billed fire finch and 350 other species after depart for Amboseli via Nairobi for lunch arriving Amboseli late afternoon , on a clear day you will be able to see Mt Kilimanjaro. Dinner and overnight at lodge or camp

Day 11: Amboseli full day

Morning and afternoon game drives over the park’s dusty roads, you’re likely to spot wildebeest, herds of elephants, giraffes, Gazelles, Impala and zebra attracted to the marshes and swamps fed by the melting snows of Kilimanjaro. You may also spot lions on the fringes of the marshes as well as a great variety of bird-life (some 425 species of bird populate the park). With Kilimanjaro providing a dramatic backdrop, your photographs will be stunning with Elephants, which makes Amboseli popular as there in hundreds. Dinner and Overnight camp or lodge
